Aerospace Monitoring Systems

New ideas take flight everyday.

QuickSet manufactures products designed specifically for use in extreme environments, including extreme heat and blast conditions. Used extensively at the Kennedy Space Center, QuickSet products are filling a wide array of needs that include launch safety, flight monitoring, communications, and facility security. QuickSet pan & tilt units are currently operating aboard the International Space Station.

QuickSet provides highly durable azimuth/elevation control mounts and tripods for some of the most demanding payload conditions. Our Pan & Tilt products have passed all rigorous tests required by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). These tests include operation in: extremely high acoustic noise environment  (165 decibels), vibration in 28G’s, blast pressure allowing changes of 800 pounds per square foot in any direction with a camera attached and oriented to any pan or tilt position, and temperature up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 seconds without damage to the pan and tilt device other than the external finish.  QuickSet Pan & Tilts are being used on the Kennedy Space launch platform when a shuttle takes off and help create launch broadcast videos that are critical part of the program.

QuickSet also supports other key suppliers to NASA and military and civil aviation in their exploration and development of new products to assist mission planning and operation.  Our QPT 20 pan and tilt, along with its Hercules tripods, contributed to the Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle Team (TUAVT). The tactical unmanned air vehicles allow for the gathering of intelligence, surveillance and targeting. QuickSet’s rugged components, commitment to innovation, reliability and quality assurance makes it an ideal partner in meeting aerospace needs.
